| There is a bit of a mystery about the fate of Dennis TOOLE. Elizabeth remarried in 1869 and her name was given as Elziabeth TOOLE so it is reasonable to assume she was a widow at that time. (If the marriage had been anulled, you would expect her to revert to her maiden name of BAX). | |
| No sign of a death for Dennis in SA in the intervening years. He may have died in another jurisdiction or his death may not have been recorded. Salt Creek - where they were married - would have been very 'outback' at that time. | |
